Virgin No Annual Fee Credit Cards

Virgin Credit Cards – Features and Benefits

With two Virgin credit cards to choose from, you should find it easy to choose on that is right for your financial needs. Virgin Money has made an effort to offer customers several value-for-money financial products, and the launch of their credit cards has continued this commitment to their customers.

Virgin No Annual Fee Credit Card

The first of the Virgin credit cards is the Virgin No Annual Fee Credit Card. This card does exactly what it says it does – you’ll never pay an annual fee for your credit card account.

If you’re the type of customer who is able to repay your credit card balance down to zero each month before the due date, you could also receive up to 44 days interest free on your purchases.

Simply use your Virgin credit card to pay for the things you need, and then spend the rest of the month repaying them. As long as the balance is repaid before the date shown on your credit card statement, you won’t be charged any interest at all on the money you spent.

Couple this with the $0 annual fee and you could enjoy a completely free credit card.

However, if you do happen to have other credit cards being charged at really high interest rates, you could save money by transferring those balances over to your Virgin No Annual Fee Credit Card. For the first six months the balance amount you transferred over will be charged at a low interest rate of 2.9%.

This means more of your money is going towards repaying your credit card debt instead of being eaten up by high interest charges. Be sure you take advantage of the low rate while it’s still available, as the low rate will expire after six months. Pay as much as you’re able during this introductory period, or you’ll find the interest rate will revert to the standard purchase rate, which is currently 16.95%.

Virgin Flyer Credit Card

The second of the Virgin credit cards available is the Virgin Flyer Credit Card. If you tend to fly Virgin airlines regularly, this card could offer you plenty of advantages.

If you use your Virgin Flyer credit card to purchase a flight on Virgin Blue, you’ll instantly receive a second seat on that flight for free. You can take a friend or colleague flying with you on your next flight.

You’ll also receive 1 Velocity point for every $2 you spend using your Virgin Flyer credit card. Your Velocity points can be redeemed for domestic or international flights to more than 400 destinations around the world.

You can also redeem your points for accommodation, online shopping and other travel related items.

While there is a $99 annual fee for this card, you can benefit from up to 44 days interest free on your purchases. Simply ensure you repay your outstanding balance in full before the due date each month and you won’t be charged any interest at all on the money you spent.

Virgin Credit Cards Security

If you’re a Virgin credit cards customer, you can be assured your account is protected by security systems to help keep your money safe.
